Good Housekeeping

Good housekeeping is one of the best ways to reduce the risk of fire. At a minimum:
  • Keep the workplace neat and orderly.
  • Do NOT permit large quantities of combustibles, such as empty boxes, to accumulate.
  • Keep hallways, doors, and access to emergency equipment unobstructed at all times.
  • Do NOT allow boxes, equipment, or other objects to block fire exits.
