Sources of Systematic Reviews

Just as there are online databases for journal, research, and academic articles, there are also databases that have compiled systematic reviews on a wide array of subjects.

Examples of systematic review databases:
These databases can help provide the following:
  • Intervention reviews that assess the benefits and harms of a specific intervention or policy used in health care
  • Diagnostic test accuracy reviews, which assess how well a diagnostic test performs in diagnosing and detecting a particular disease
  • Methodology reviews that address issues relevant to how clinical trials are conducted and reported
