Gram-negative Bacilli

Most bacteria that are encountered in the clinical microbiology laboratory will be gram-negative bacilli. Gram-negative bacilli include the Enterobacteriaceae, nonfermentative bacilli, Haemophilus species, and several fastidious species.
Gram-negative bacilli can be observed in this field.
