Pressure Factor

With the introduction of closed-chamber processors, came the ability to control pressure, vacuum, and mixing cycles. Such controls allow the reagents to infiltrate the tissue more rapidly and consistently. Caution should be taken when using such controls for processing biopsies, since delicate tissue may become too hard and friable.
