The courier only needs to wear protective eye wear or use facial shields if they are performing a procedure that could result in a splash or spray to the face.
Any time a courier handles open specimens or chemicals, face protection should be used.
Protective safety eyeglasses and facial shields are made to be comfortable and optically clear. Regular prescription eyeglasses are not considered protective eyewear.
