Training for emergency management planning occurs at the national, regional, state, and local levels. There are many courses that focus on specific types of events. These courses are intended for emergency managers, personnel from emergency operations organizations (eg, law enforcement, fire, medical services, public works), and representatives from other community organizations, both public and private, for whom special event planning is not a regular responsibility.
