Help your lab employees meet FL lab license renewal requirements
Meet Florida Continuing Education Requirements for Lab Personnel
Every two years, licensed laboratory personnel in Florida, including medical laboratory technologists (TN), medical lab technicians (TC), lab supervisors (SU), and lab directors (DI), must complete continuing education courses in order to renew their FL licenses. Compliance & CE provides online courses that your employees need to help meet these requirements. Don't risk an audit or having your employees be unlicensed. Help your employees get the continuing education they'll need for their Florida license renewal.
Compliance & CE includes Florida-specific courses that you and your employees need to renew your license, including HIV Safety, Laws and Rules of the Florida Board, and Medical Error Prevention. You'll also have access to all 101 Compliance & CE courses to fulfill Florida CE requirements in safety, hematology, blood banking, microbiology, and more.
Direct Reporting to Florida's CEBroker
Compliance & CE reports earned continuing education credits directly to Florida's CEBroker system, which tracks all continuing education for the State of Florida. Employees provide their license numbers and Compliance & CE reports all earned CE to CEBroker. You and your employees can also print certificates of completion to further document your earned Florida CLS credit.
Currently, Compliance & CE courses are only accepted by the Board of Clinical Laboratory Science Personnel and only for licensees with director (DI), supervisor (SU), technologist (TN), and technician (TC) licenses. Compliance & CE courses will not fulfill license requirements for nursing, physician, or other license types. If you have a question about whether Compliance & CE courses are appropriate for your license, please contact us.
