ASCLS P.A.C.E.® Credits

The P.A.C.E. program is administered by the American Society for Clinical Laboratory Science. MediaLab courses that carry P.A.C.E. credits have been reviewed and approved by ASCLS.

P.A.C.E. credits are widely accepted throughout the laboratory community for continuing education requirements. Organizations and states that accept P.A.C.E. credits include:

• American Society for Clinical Pathology (ASCP)
• National Credentialing Agency for Laboratory Personnel (NCA) - now merged with ASCP
• American Medical Technologists
• California
• Louisiana
• Montana
• Nevada
• New York
• North Dakota
• Rhode Island
• Tennessee
• West Virginia
• Puerto Rico

Canadian organizations, including the Canadian Society for Medical Laboratory Science (CSMLS) and the College of Medical Laboratory Technologists of Ontario (CMLTO), may also accept P.A.C.E. credits for CE and professional portfolio requirements in Canada. Depending on your individual learning goals, LabCE's online courses may be an acceptable source for activity hours.

Other organizations may also accept P.A.C.E. credits. Please check with your license provider for more details.

P.A.C.E. credits are NOT accepted by the Florida Board of Clinical Laboratory Science Personnel. However, all MediaLab courses also separately approved by Florida to carry Florida-specific credit hours. MediaLab courses DO meet Florida CE requirements.
