Signs and Symptoms of the H1N1 Virus

Symptoms of the Influenza A 2009 H1N1 virus are similar to what is currently recognized as typical flu-related symptoms. The most common symptoms for the H1N1 virus include:

  • fever (greater than 100.0° F or 37.8 ° C)
  • sore throat
  • fatigue
  • cough
  • runny / stuffy nose
  • chills
  • diarrhea
  • nausea / vomiting
  • headaches
  • body aches (muscle & joint pain)

More severe symptoms may be present.
