The following items must be available at the collection site in order to conduct a proper collection:

1. Collection kit.
2. Proper custody and control form.
3. Bluing agent to add to the toilet bowl or water tank to prevent a donor from diluting the specimen.
4. Single use disposable gloves for use by collectors while handling specimens.
5. If appropriate, proper signage to prevent entry into the collection area.
