Confidentiality

A person who receives the results of an HIV test shall maintain the confidentiality of the information received and of the person tested.

A person who violates the confidentiality provisions commits a misdemeanor of the first degree.

A person who obtains information that identifies an individual who has a sexually transmissible disease and maliciously, or for monetary gain, disseminates this information commits a felony of the third degree.
