TDM for Immunosuppressants

Drugs used to inhibit the immune system are part of standard treatment after transplant surgeries. Regarding the use of TDM, there are some reports of hepatotoxicity and nephrotoxicity with some agents, but the main reason for TDM is to ensure that concentrations are adequate to suppress the immune response and prevent rejection.
