| Electrical Fires Do not attempt to extinguish a fire yourself unless all of the following are true: You are trained in the use of a fire extinguisher and the proper extinguisher is in the immediate vicinity The fire alarm has been pulled and personnel have been evacuated from the area of the fire The fire is small and contained- not spreading beyond the point of origin The exit is clear and you can fight the fire with your back to the exit. You can avoid smokeIf these conditions are not all met, do NOT fight the fire yourself. Pull the fire alarm and leave the area. | View Page |
